A change has been made in the way that Super Trouper II followspots are attached to their color changing boomerang. This change was made on new equipment built after January 1, 2008. The new method attaches the boomerang with fixed fasteners doing away with the keyhole slot and thumb screw previously used.

This change was made to enhance the safe operation of the product. In some cases, it has been reported that operators fail to secure the color changer to the body of the followspot by use of the thumb screw. This omission could allow the changer to become dislodged during operation and possibly become a safety hazard.
